Events[]
- Varda forms the Valacirca and sets it in the far north of Middle-earth as a challenge to Melkor.[1][2]
- Melian ascends Mount Taniquetil to see the new stars, and then leaves Valinor for Beleriand.[1][3]
- The Elves, Elder Children of Ilúvatar, awake at the shores of Cuiviénen in the far east of Middle-earth, at first seeing the stars of Varda.[1][2] They are numbering 144 in total and led by three Elf-fathers: Imin lord of the Minyar, Tata lord of the Tatyar, and Enel lord of the Nelyar.[4]
- The First Age begins.[1][5][6]
