Lore deviations[]

Adar shows Galadriel what he says is Morgoth's Crown, even though canon tells the crown was destroyed to make chains after Morgoth's defeat.

Another deviation from the legendarium is the implication that Durin III was given all of the Seven. However, there is a part in the Appendix A that suggests Celebrimbor gave Durin III his ring,[1] unlike the remaining ones which were kept in Eregion until Sauron stole them.

Further deviation stems from the show's time compression, with the attack on Eregion in SA 1697 portrayed before the forging of the One Ring, almost 100 years earlier around SA 1600. Also in canon, Celeborn is said to have been a significant part of the defense of Eregion, but he has yet to appear in the series.
