Wellinghall was the name of one of the Ent Treebeard's houses in Fangorn Forest.
It lay near the Methedras peak and was surrounded by a host of evergreen trees, which served as a roof and ideal cover. It had one large room with some furniture in it. While in Fangorn Forest on February 29, 3019, the hobbits Merry and Pippin drank of Treebeard's magical Ent-draughts in Wellinghall, which increased their growth. Then they spent the night there, the day before the awaited Entmoot.[1]
In adaptations
In The Lord of the Rings Online, first visited in a flashback narrated by Merry and Pippin, Wellinghall sits empty during the present day after Treebeard had gone to Isengard.
