Wrong infobox for a user

A question has come up as to the type of infoboxs that certain users are using to describe themselves on their homepage here. You see the one you used is getting you listing them in Category:Characters, now that category is only for in-universe characters; it is not a userlist. Your must use this one  {{Userbox |image= |name= |race= |othernames= |birth= |gender= |height= |hair= |eyes= }}  see: rules. I'll give you one week to change it on your own and then I shall act. --DarkLantern (talk) 00:56, July 6, 2013 (UTC)

Ohh okay. Right, I should probably look at the rules. Tar-Akhorahil (talk) 00:17, July 7, 2013 (UTC)

Oops, I forgot about the difference. HiddenVale (talk) 00:26, July 7, 2013 (UTC)

Minor tasks just for when you're editing

Seeing as how you're planning to be a major contributor here (as you told me), I just wondered if you could keep some simple consistencies in mind when editing pages, since there are many:

  • Make sure the title of the page in the first sentence is bolded. (You already know about that which is good)
  • If the page is canonical and doesn't have a References section at the bottom please put one there, in Heading 2,  and then in Bullet points, like you'll see, list any books you know even mention once the topic of the page/person/event/place/thing, etc.
  • Lastly, see that the tense of a Canonical page is in the past, for the historical sense; that excludes characters of games, actors, etc.

I might add to that, but no stress. HiddenVale (talk) 00:26, July 7, 2013 (UTC)

Yeah I've noticed these things, and I'll be sure to remember. Tar-Akhorahil (talk) 00:28, July 7, 2013 (UTC)

If your asking what you can do here, then here is one of them: Forum:Project: Tolkien Gateway and Wikipedia copies removal--DarkLantern (talk) 06:04, April 29, 2014 (UTC)

On Sauron

It means Featured article.--DarkLantern (talk) 23:50, May 8, 2015 (UTC)
