Why did you put the "'''Personality'''" and "'''Abilities'''" subsections back in the main (canon) section of '''[[Azog]]'''? Everything mentioned in those is from the Peter Jackson movies only, not from anything Tolkien wrote, so they should be subsections of the "Hobbit film trilogy" section under the "Portrayal in adaptations" heading. - Gradivus, 08:05, November 12, 2013 (UTC)

Hi DarkLantern,
I refreshed the video on the main page, just an fyi. Also, we are going to proceed with making a custom video about Smaug unless we hear otherwise from you. Thanks!

I have read that Figwit has been renamed Lindir in the Hobbit films. He was given a bigger role. I suggest we rename Figwit to Lindir or maybe we wait until it has been announced properly or something. Your choice :) - Darkchylde 14:07, December 15, 2012 (UTC) has begun vandalizing some pages, e.g., revision 95047. - Gradivus, 22:54, December 18, 2012 (UTC)

As the Hobbit has been released, I think this wiki could do with a few design upgrades. User:Ḡwẵine Ḹٍٍkƨ Ĺiĸe Ͼềлȑềd

I think that the Goblins page should be merged with the Orc page, makes sense as it will stop confusion that they are separate breeds but I don't think that goblins should be completely removed as the word is mentioned a lot and from the way it it used in books like The Hobbit it does seem possible that Goblin refers to smaller or less advanced orcs, also goblin imps are mentioned so they must be a real thing in the universe. Hi! I've been offline for several months and am only just back online.

Regarding your last posting on my talk page: a bit cheeky asking whether I'm interested in contributing to a forum after you deleted my detailed contribution:

Hello, I'm MsIsamisa :) Nice to meet you! I would like to know something...When I'm wondering the wiki, some users add fan-arts to characters that aren't physically portrayed by either Tolkien or Peter Jackson...Is that okay? Just asking! :) *MsIsamisa (talk) 14:19, December 31, 2012 (UTC)

The late Lord of dale

Tell me, DarkLantern, is Girion a man or not?? HiddenVale 03:40, January 1, 2013 (UTC)

I assume you are referring to my reverting of your adding of the Men category to Girion page. A category already exists 'Category:Men of Dale and Laketown', that is all that is needed. There is such a thing as over categorization. It will stay as it is now.--DarkLantern (talk) 04:17, January 1, 2013 (UTC)
...If the Category you mentioned leads to the Category of Men, in general, since he is (was) still a Man. And it probably does. HiddenVale 04:20, January 1, 2013 (UTC)

RE: navigation menus

Hi DarkLantern. I'm back to work, so I'm just now seeing your last message. The 'On the Wiki' section of the navigation menu is inaccessible, so adding links there is not an option.

For the Monobook navigation menus, they are controlled by MediaWiki:Sidebar. JoePlay WikiaStaff2.png (talk) 18:46, January 2, 2013 (UTC)

Witch-king/Witch-King of Angmar

Right now there is a "Witch-King of Angmar" page (in which the "K" in "Witch-King" is capitalized), and a special page "Witch-king of Angmar" ("k" not capitalized) that redirects to Witch-King of Angmar (which according to the history was done by user SarumanTheGray). My problem with that is that Tolkien never capitalized the "king" in that name; it was always the Witch-king. If that's the way Tolkien did it, that's the way we should do it. But I'm not sure how to switch those two pages without messing something up, and I thought I'd run it by you in any case. Your thoughts?

Rollback Rights

You're asking me if I'm having problems with Rollback. I'm not, but as I mentioned previously, I use "Undo" when I want to give the person who made the edit an explanation of why I deleted it, so he won't just make the change again. "Rollback" is a one-click operation, so there doesn't seem to be away to leave an explanation in History. Would you prefer I use "Rollback" and then give the explanation in the person's Talk page? - Gradivus, 04:16, January 4, 2013 (UTC)

Tense when discussing ancient Tolkien languages

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I've asked HiddenVale to stop replacing past tense with present tense when discussing ancient Tolkien languages such as the various versions of Elvish, having noticed that you've begun reversing those changes he made, having decided (quite rightly, in my opinion) that regardless of whether fans of Tolkien have learned those languages, they are languages of a fictional antiquity and therefore must be spoken of in the past tense, as is customary. - Gradivus, 18:54, January 5, 2013 (UTC)

Or not; I just saw you correct tense in the other direction. - Gradivus, 19:48, January 6, 2013 (UTC)

Something rather disturbing

Forgive me if I'm bothering you, but I just saw this on the Legolas page: "He dreamed of fucking frodo, until his hobbit brain went psycho crazy like gollum, Legolas is the reason why gollum fucked up because he fucked his brains with the ring... poor gollum! Your sincerely Peter Jackson." I deleted it but I thought I should let you know.  PeculiarManiacalFella Talk 13:44, January 9, 2013 (UTC)

RE: Message highlight problem

MediaWiki:Sitenotice only works on the Monobook skin. The newer skin uses a different method for alerting all users of important information. See Help:Community messages to find out it works. If that method isn't good enough, you could just add the message to the main page itself above the slider. JoePlay WikiaStaff2.png (talk) 17:30, January 11, 2013 (UTC)

Guinea pigs?

Wikia would like to run a small experiment with how we handle search engine traffic for images and I was hoping this wiki would be able to help us out. You shouldn't notice any user-facing changes, as the test will be on the backend. If anything, we hope there might be a slight uptick in traffic coming to this wiki. Is this something this community could help us out with?

Kinslaying at Alqualondë

I see you've changed my edit back. But the way you've left it is terribly redundant; the first two paragraphs are essentially the same sentence repeated twice, with a second (disambiguation) sentence added to one of them. What was wrong with my method? - Gradivus, 23:51, January 15, 2013 (UTC)

I shouldn't be the only one actually working on this website

I'm finding out now that the Book of Lost Tales 2 and The Hobbit have a lot of content in it that isn't mentioned here on this Wiki, including many early name-versions of things and Sindarin ("Gnomish" it was called) meanings. You might have noticed I put a ton of that stuff in wherever it went just now; and I'm actually putting my many sources to use here. If you have any History of Middle-earth book within reach, use it. Especially same with the Atlas of Middle-earth, which I own also. We need to add in everything that shows up in these books so that this Wiki can actually "Rule Them All", and be the #1 online source for everything about Middle-earth. That's the last thing you're not able to help with.

And something else (very minor) to watch for whenever you're reading a page: take away periods from picture-labels that aren't sentences, e.g. "Guritz the Advance Captain" (not a sentence) as opposed to "Theoden approaches Helm's Deep" or whatever. HiddenVale 05:01, January 17, 2013 (UTC)

Are you familiar with {{T}}? It's usually the best way to quote a template because it can be copied and pasted straight into a page but it also acts as a link. Example {{Welc1}}. -- Robin Patterson (Talk) 01:30, February 7, 2013 (UTC)

OOPS - on this wiki it doesn't produce a copy-and-paste model. What's different here? -- Robin Patterson (Talk) 01:33, February 7, 2013 (UTC)

I'm not too keen on some templates. Try asking User:Cook Me Plox of Wikia Community Central, he specializes in templates and helped me fix a template I was working on a few days ago.--DarkLantern (talk) 01:48, February 7, 2013 (UTC)

It seems that there is a lack of regulation on this wiki. Many add unnecessary information, and those who see it are unable to revise the changes (page creation). It seems that you should appoint an active user as an admin to do what is needed to do. BrundtBro the Chieftain (talk) 22:12, February 11, 2013 (UTC)

Return of the season's guy

Hey DarkLantern, I just returned to editing this Wiki (after watching The Hobbit movie and reacquiring my editing interest). I'll probably continue with my chronology project and do some other updates from the movie adaptation. Is there anything else new here (policies, wiki pages) that I should be aware of? Thanks in advance. Winterz (talk) 19:52, February 15, 2013 (UTC)

PJ films separate scenes with articles?!

Hey DarkLantern, I wanted to propose the speedy deletion of all PJ scenes' articles and respective infobox template. Why? It's simple, this Wiki is not about the movies, the scene articles present nothing besides the scene's name (which I could individually add to the respective movie article), and they were all added by a single un-registered user. What do you think of this? Winterz (talk) 18:31, February 24, 2013 (UTC)

  • I'd also, if you are available, like you to look at this random article, Ñoldor Warriors, which I worked on today, and tell me if you like this template/model as an examplary article. Don't worry about the ref coding error, I'll fix that soon and will introduce three new templates for you or any other active administrator to analyze and see if you authorize the larger use of this. I promise the three are of great use to this Wiki. Winterz (talk) 22:36, February 24, 2013 (UTC)
    • I'm not sure why you're ignoring my messages, and I do apologize if they're being annoying (though I wouldn't understand why), but I'd thank you if I received a reply of any kind. Here are two of the templates I mentioned: Template:Appearances and Template:Conjecture‎. The first is to organize appearances lists of novels/movies/videogames or whatever source that received an article here, I was initially intending to add the "Show/Hide" function so it wouldn't occupy a lot of space in the source article however, that requires JavaScript so it's out of my reach. The other may suit us for articles that haven't received any official name like Gollum's lake, Samwise Gamgee's Sword and so on. As a trial reference I've applied the first template to The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, check it out when you can. Still about the film article, I wanted to get all the production/development stuff out of the main article and to a more suitable "sub-article" (considering that the movie was already released) and wanted to know if you oppose that. Thanks in advance, sir. Winterz (talk) 22:26, February 25, 2013 (UTC)

Re: Ekukanova's Works

Godness me, I'm so sorry! I didn't know that. Good thing you told me before it was too late. I'll keep that in mind now. Thanks! What about other artists? Improvement drive

Hey DarkLantern, just wanted to let you know that I've started an improvement drive project in preparation for the next Hobbit film. Check it out and feel free to participate if you're interested! ;) Winterz (talk) 13:22, February 27, 2013 (UTC)

  • Hey just a heads-up, DarkLantern, I'm not sure you remember me 2 years back, and that's why I assume you ignore all my messages (even though I know as a fact that you're watchful of your talkpage), also explaining why you've replied to only a third of my requests (not positive nor negative). Now we kind of collaborated pretty well 2 years back, when I actively edited here, so I'm just gonna try this a last time. This isn't about my personal project (which I mentioned above) at all, but as the two most active editors (and probably only) here right now, I believe it would be best if there was more communication between us (at least from your side) leading to collaboration. Why I posted that project thing here was simply to let us work in some focus together, but if you're not interested it's fine. Just please let me know, don't leave me in complete ignorance. In fact, just because I think we really need to collaborate/communication more, I'm going to ask you to name something for me to help you with...the forum's article attack? Other? You name it. I await your reply, and thank you in advance for reading this. As long as there is communication between us, I shall help in whatever I can. P.S. Feel free to be straight, if you don't want to reply to me because you think I'm annoying, let me know and though I won't be offended at all, I'll stop "bothering you", if that's really where you stand, sir. Winterz (talk) 22:12, February 27, 2013 (UTC)

A few things

Hey DarkLantern, just wanted to note a few things:

  • I've been thinking of doing a Manual of Style page, an exemplary template to serve as guideline on how to write a proper article. If you allow this, I would, before announcing it to public, show you so you can take your conclusions on what should be modified or so.
  • I've been speed tagging some articles which you seem to ignore, most are those film scenes articles that I've told you about some in this talk page some weeks ago, which you claimed that I had your approval.
  • How are "Featured articles" chosen?
  • Thanks for reading and, if possible, a reply would be helpful. Winterz (talk) 00:51, March 10, 2013 (UTC)

In regards to if there will be another round of Q&A with anyone from the movie, I'm told that probably won't happen til the next movie is about to come out.  : /  Sorry about that.

However, I still think it would be a good idea to put the current interview up as the featured video as it was members of the community that generated the questions, which is pretty awesome.  : )

Blah Blah Blah ...Rise of the Witch-king

Can we have it so that when wanting to link Rise of the Witch-king (the PC game) we don't need to type or even start typing The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II: The Rise of the Witch-king? That thought even to me is ridiculous, and how long that title is.  It might require renaming it, or simply making a redirect which I have not learned how to do yet....and I as an Administrator I should.

That'd be very helpful, HiddenVale 04:42, March 20, 2013 (UTC)

  • Wow Hidden, just wow. Anyway I went ahead and created the redirect, so every time you now type "Rise of the (...)" on the search function it will lead you to BFME2:ROTWK (I've also created a redirect for this). It is very simple to create a redirect page, just check the coding here (this will redirect you to the actual article but you then must press on the top where it says "Redirected from Rise of the Witch-king" and it is there that you can check the code to see how it is done). Winterz (talk) 10:20, March 20, 2013 (UTC)

Oh good, thank you. What is that first sentence doing there, was that a typo? If your'e annoyed by my message to DarkLantern, you could have....  ...not put up with having to do any of this; but you did anyway, so that's random. HiddenVale 03:44, March 21, 2013 (UTC)

Rollback rights

Hello DL, do you know where I can nominate myself for rollback rights? It's just that I've been doing many reverts (as it is something that is very much required here), however since I'm limited to a simple undo of one previous edit this generally prevents me from contributing it further and some articles I just can't revert even though a lot of damage has been done to them. For this reason, I seek Rollback rights so I can undo said users' vandalism contributions in articles. Winterz (talk) 01:03, March 30, 2013 (UTC)

  • I would also like to report User:DynasticHunter to you, as he's been vandalizing the wiki for months, you can easily check it on his contributions list. Winterz (talk) 01:06, March 30, 2013 (UTC)

Work you asked

A month ago you asked me to work on this page List of Minor Battles in Middle-earth. Now more than two afters I finished working on it, the article still stands there. May I ask why? Also, why are you so reluctant to make any decisions here? This Wiki needs you and you're somewhat the leading admin here. Of course, I do not expect any answer because I already know how you'll solve it, which is by ignoring it. Respectfully, Winterz. Winterz (talk) 19:51, April 1, 2013 (UTC)

DL, I wonder if you have time to speak properly in order to avoid turning our talk pages into chats. There's a simple way to do it. I've created a random channel so we can speak in the IRC freenode. You don't need to register at all, just choose a name and in channel insert #LOTRwiki, then do the captcha and you should be good to go. Please, show up whenever you're available (today). No archers in the works of Tolkien? - really? -- Robin Patterson (Talk) 08:15, April 23, 2013 (UTC)

  • Robin, I think it was pretty valid. That category was more speculation than anything. What can be considered an archer? One who uses a bow once or twice, or one who uses it always in battle, or neither of the previous two? Also, whoever created that category, used it in articles like Bowman Cotton, simply because he had "Bowman" on his name and that itself speaks of how truthful that category was. Anyway, having a category for Archers seems rather silly, just like having one for "Swordsmen", "Spearmen", "Axemen", etc.. Winterz (talk) 13:23, April 23, 2013 (UTC)

Hello. My name is Nic and I'm from the Community Development Team. As you may or may not have heard, we recently released an application called My Wikia. We are hoping to bring this app to the attention of more people and for this reason could use some cooperation with this Wiki. We are hoping that you will allow us to display this Template in the upper-right hand column on your wiki. If you are fine with us displaying this, please let me know. Thanks. - Wagnike2 (talk) 14:53, May 6, 2013 (UTC)

I haven't wikid in a year, thanks for putting the non-canon templates on my pages! - Donut

Hi and Help

Hi. May I upload images for sole use on my user page? Thanks in advance. Mixedfiction112 (talk) 13:19, May 16, 2013 (UTC)

What sort of images and from where?--DarkLantern (talk) 13:21, May 16, 2013 (UTC)
I was thinking of putting an image of Gandalf (from Google Search) on my userpage to test profile editing and to spice it up a bit. Mixedfiction112 (talk) 14:42, May 16, 2013 (UTC)

Dups is vandalising, I think. He's changed Azog to Hector and puts "hubie" at the bottom of the Legolas page.

DonutFourTalk to me!Witchking 15:59, May 17, 2013 (UTC)

Sorry. He put 'hubie' on Gollum, 'he is gay' on Legolas, renamed Azog to Hector and hell knows what he'll change next.

Frazer Anderson-HUNTER ORC

hi dark lantern, I am not sure if I am talking to the right admin but I trying to find out how to correct a blog under Hunter Orcs.My name is Frazer Anderson( not Frazer Anderwood as posted by its author!) and I played this character along with Joseph Mika Hunt ( (Hunter Orc 2)in An Unexpected Journey and the two films to follow. I have however been able to change that I am infact a New Zealand actor not British as also written!... it's just when u click on hunter orcs .... it always comes up as Frazer Anderwood!.... my IMBD profile has correct spelling. Are you able to correct this from your end? thanks Frazer.

Hey, could I copy off Template:Race for [1]?

Chat agreement

As I wrote an hour ago above in the "Chat" message, which for some reason you have not seen although you are active right now, shall we add the Chat feature? HiddenVale 02:47, June 19, 2013 (UTC)

What is the IRC? HiddenVale 02:56, June 19, 2013 (UTC)

This is [2] where User:Winterz and I chatted months ago.--DarkLantern (talk) 03:02, June 19, 2013 (UTC)
Interesting. I don't think I know anything about that... but now I will turn on the Chat feature. You can join if you want; I'll be on it. HiddenVale 03:09, June 19, 2013 (UTC)

And I'll see how to add Emoticons, unless you know. HiddenVale

RE: Category for WITN

Yeah I almost had that thought. How do I rename the whole category? (BTW I'm on the Chat at the moment) HiddenVale 03:24, June 19, 2013 (UTC)

Hello DarkLantern.

I noticed that I should have not unbolded certain names of the pages in infobox captions. I apologize for my previous actions and I rebolded the names within the captions of pages and this event should not happen again. I apologize.

Also, I have plans to add in more photos within pages but some of them are in widescreen like the photos I added in the Frodo Baggins page. I am thinking the photos should be in fullscreen or without the black margins to make the photo stand out and look more professional. What do you think?

Thank you.

--Peazeract (talk) 03:42, June 26, 2013 (UTC)

Alright I've been adding places that are in Mordor; you might want to look them over. They'll all be listed on this page. HiddenVale (talk) 01:39, July 1, 2013 (UTC)

Hmmm why would you not see this when having been active just now.... HiddenVale (talk)

Whoa! Again you're active and not seeing this... HiddenVale (talk)

RE: Mordor places

Well, that map is the only "citation", and I've mentioned that on the pages. Also how do I rename the Category?HiddenVale (talk) 19:57, July 1, 2013 (UTC)

So then where do I put that on the Category page? HiddenVale (talk)

Oh okay I have it figured out. The mouthful doesn't matter, because eventually you'll only need to type in a few letters, and the Category will appear in the list. HiddenVale (talk) 00:41, July 2, 2013 (UTC)

DOS trailer

Hey DarkLantern. I was wondering if you could update the Main Page's video? From Martin Freeman's interview could you update it into the Desolation of Smaug trailer? Thanks a lot. :)  - Darkchylde  Message

Hey DarkLantern can you warn me next time you move one of my created pages over to an official page? I wanted to separate the pages as I had a lot of pictures to post. Also- why do you keep flagging stuff with Canon? I'm not getting that.

Dairyman88 (talk) 07:12, July 7, 2013 (UTC)

Alrighty, thanks for the Clarification- I knew about official pages and everything but thought my posts would get deleted as they have in the past because people tell me that there are too many pictures and whatnot.

What does "Canon" mean on some articles though, I'm confused as to what this means. :S

  • See Canon, and please do remember to sign all your talk page's posts (with 4 consecutive ~) ;). Winterz (talk) 13:36, July 7, 2013 (UTC)

How are Talk Archives made, or i.e. put in the box that defaultly shows up on a page with multiple headings? I'm beginning to need those.  HiddenVale - HV logo MyTalkPage 01:03, July 12, 2013 (UTC)

And FWI: I shall be in Germany until August 7th and will not be active. HiddenVale - HV logo MyTalkPage 03:30, July 18, 2013 (UTC)

Third Age: Total War???

Hello DarkLantern. You may remember me. Here's something interesting: Third Age Total War!! Why is it here? I thought you said mods are not allowed? Is there some apparnent reason that this one's here? I cleaned it up just for the sake of it, but could you clarify if this is allowed?   Smeagol630 (talk) 02:08, August 1, 2013 (UTC)

New video clipping tool available for testing

Hello! I am writing to let you know that Wikia has an exciting test we are running and I wanted to ask if you would like to participate. We are currently testing a video clipping tool in partnership with a company called Anyclips. The tool allows admins to create clips of specific scenes and moments from their favorite movies and embed them on their wikis. Anyclip has developed the tool and is providing the content. All clips will be available immediately for your wiki, and still available once the test is over.

Related to your wiki, Anyclips has access to all 3 LOTR movies. Would you or your fellow admins be interested in testing out the tool? I’ve written out detailed instructions here and can give you access via your email address. I'm also going to leave a message for HiddenVale.

Part of this test is for us to gain a better understanding of users’ interest in creating clips of specific scenes and moments from movies as well as obtain general feedback on the Anyclip editing tool. Please let me know if this is something you or your community is interested in testing. We think clips could provide an interesting new form of content on your wiki, and allow you to highlight quote, scenes, characters and much more. Let me know if you would like to try it out and I can provide you with a log in, as well as further instructions. --Sarah@fandom (help forum | blog) 17:03, August 23, 2013 (UTC)

Hey there, I just wanted to stop by again and see if you had any interest or think another admin might. Let me know, thanks! Sarah@fandom (help forum | blog) 20:55, September 9, 2013 (UTC)

it is but for some reason anon keeps removing it and forcing me onto the fanon page. forgive my reaction but its happened four times already and im getting fed up. do what you will

Apology and clarification

Im sorry i attacked the anon. Yes it is LOTRO stuff, if possible i would like to repost it. anon has deleted it several time already hence my actions 01:12, September 26, 2013 (UTC)Frobacca

anon is editing my page without due cause

the anon has  remmoved my pages once again. please fix this issue. i dont know if you can block him or make me pages un editable or what but it needs to end. my sources are legitimate. Eddleton and Hutchferth were both part of the original LOTRO before mine of moria was added. the anon thinks its all fanon but i assure you its not. please resolve this issueFrobacca (talk) 13:32, September 26, 2013 (UTC) Frobacca

Hobbit Quiz

Hey there DarkLatern,

With the release of Desolation of Smaug, we wanted to create a cool quiz for LOTR Wiki. The quizzes have been great ways to engage the community- example here:

We'll be putting the quiz on a separate page, so let me know if this is something that you're interested in!

Hobbit game info

Hey Dark, I was going to add all of my information, then after I was done I was going to add all the extra links, corrections, ect. to the posts I make. It just takes me a long time to upload pictures and put information chronologically with it by myself. The whole wikia is a work-in-progress, but I'll eventually get all the information plugged in eventually. I just have to get it out there first. Thanks!

Desolation Trailer

Given that the Desolation of Smaug Trailer 2 is already out, could you update the video on the main page so that our visitors could see the trailer? It would be very much appreciated. Thanks!  - Darkchylde  Message

I see that the order of Hobbit movies is not the correct order in the navigation bar (The Hobbit: There and Back Again should be at #3, not #2)

Just a small change, but I think it is needed.

Admin help?

Hello again, I'm having a hard time finding administrators on this One Wiki to Rule Them all site, there doesn't seem to be very many at all. So anyway, I was wondering if you could remove these pages: here , here and here . I tried to rename them but that didn't work, so I tried to delete them but I need admin privlages. So could you delete these for me, or can I be made an administrator so I can delete my own posts myself? I've followed most of the wikia rules and am an avid poster, I just post late at night when I have time so I get forgetful when typing out full posts, anyway thanks if you read this.

Dairyman88 (talk) 15:27, October 3, 2013 (UTC)

hi again ^^

Hey Dark, I was wondering how you post polls on this wikia, I wanted to have a vote to add badges and change the wikia backdrop. If you could reply on here or on my talk page, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Dairyman88 (talk) 15:45, October 9, 2013 (UTC)

Custom Video

Hi Dark Lantern,

We thought it would be cool to produce a video for you guys to promote Desolation of Smaug. I like the content you all have compiled on and think it would make for a nifty "Know Thy Enemey" type video. I'm confident we could produce an engaging, high quality video for you (and you would have final approval on it too!). Let me know your thoughts...

Cheers, Peter@fandom 21:00, October 22, 2013 (UTC)

Seven Hoards of the Dwarf-kings

I'm not sure, but it looks like this page was created completely from speculation by its creator. What do you think? - Gradivus, 03:32, October 23, 2013 (UTC)

DarkLantern fellow Administrator, is there a reason why...DarkChlyde is um not also an Administrator? She has done more work than I (I whom you made even a Bereaucrat), despite having become a user a few months after I did, and even has been given a Barnstar, unlike me, because of that. In other words I vote for DarkChlyde's promotion.

(Plus ya know having two "Dark-something" Administrators would be kinda cool.)  HiddenVale - HV logo MyTalkPage 05:11, October 23, 2013 (UTC)

Wanted to Say a Quick Thank You.

Thank you very much for deleting (or, placing up for deletion) one of a fan-based pages upon the wiki. I've been having some problems with a current user at the moment (the one I dare speak of is named the Leader of the Wargs) so with that they're trying to get me banned from each and every wiki I'm apart of. Anyways enought of that, I wanted to give a quick thank you for doing so. (Note: If you may, please keep an eye out on them, they've been causing problems lately and you may want to look sharp because of it. If anything is spotted once again please contact me as this has gone way too far and I am wanting to do something about it. For the third time, (I believe), thank you, very much. ~WrappedUpFrodo.

The Hobbit Giveaway

Hey, DarkLantern! We have a simple The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Extended Edition giveaway going on right now and I was wondering if you could promote the blog post (located here) on the main page just so users can see it? The prize is really great: a download code for the extended edition of the film on iTunes! If the blog could be linked to in the slider or maybe even as the featured article, that would be great :) Let me know, thanks! Grace @fandom (profile)•(talk) 16:34, October 30, 2013 (UTC)

Please delete this page

Please delete this vandal page Uvanimor  , i would, but i dont know how...... sorry... MY PRECIOUS!!! 20:16, November 3, 2013 (UTC)

Sorry if im being a freeloader, but could you make a userbox for me? By userbox i mean like this kind: I would like it to say : This User has a crush on Sam. And put a pic of sam please. Again, sorry, but it would really brighten my day if you did.... MY PRECIOUS!!! 01:03, November 7, 2013 (UTC)

Hey Dark...

Is there a reason why the background is a grey color? If you want I can design a theme for this site of the new Hobbit movie background in PS. It would be no problem at all.

Dairyman88 (talk) 17:00, November 11, 2013 (UTC)

Edits to Azog

Why did you put the "Personality" and "Abilities" subsections back in the main (canon) section of Azog? Everything mentioned in those is from the Peter Jackson movies only, not from anything Tolkien wrote, so they should be subsections of the "Hobbit film trilogy" section under the "Portrayal in adaptations" heading. - Gradivus, 08:05, November 12, 2013 (UTC)

Hi DarkLantern,

I refreshed the video on the main page, just an fyi. Also, we are going to proceed with making a custom video about Smaug unless we hear otherwise from you. Thanks!
