Johnystoo's Heroes
"This is the ultimate Adventure Dream Team because they are among the most powerful warriors throughout fiction. Link would be the ring bearer primarily. Kil'Jaeden, The Lich King, and The Queen of Blades all have enormous armies at their disposals, in addition to their own extreme powers. Captain Planet has the powers of earth, fire, wind, water, and HEART. Master Chief has the tactical and technological advantage. Gandalf knows the way, knows Middle-earth, comes back to life if he dies, and was there in the original Fellowship. The Doctor is a timelord so he can go back or forward in time and has the light-hearted humor and infinitely advanced technology. Lastly, Superman. Personally I don't like him, but I have to admit he's powerful and could probably do it all alone, especially since there's no kryptonite in Middle-earth. This is also of course assuming that the sun of Middle-earth is yellow and grants Superman his powers."

"This team has an unstoppable combination of intelligence, fighting capability, wisdom, experience, and brawn to accomplish any quest and defeat any enemy. Many of the characters complement each other well, and together, they would be able to deal with almost anything. This team is very balanced, some straight fighters, some extremely clever."

The Inconceivables
"Superman, Goku and Thor are the main fighters of this team, able to take on entire armies by themselves (and win), but all nine are skilled enough to survive in the War of the Ring. The Doctor, Batman and Holmes add some serious brainpower, sure to come up with winning strategies every time. Dredd is the steely backbone, ensuring nobody surrenders, and good for clearing out corruption in Middle-earth (say goodbye, Denethor and Saruman). Indiana Jones and Tintin bring good old heroic determination and two-fisted adventuring. Like the Hobbits, they are the heart and soul of the team. For his innocence and eternal optimism, I'd have to give the Ring itself to Tintin -- nothing can wear that boy down."

Pingu's Fist
Gandalf and Palpatine are the Nukers. They can unleash devastating attacks that could destroy any army. Luke Skywalker would bear the ring from the Shire to the black gates, as he is Uncorruptible. Then, Lord Voldemort would hop on Toothless and throw himself to the Cracks of Doom. As his Horrocruxes haven't been destroyed, he wouldn't be dead, destroying the ring, but leaving his soul untouched. Inu-Yasha and Jango are the fighters. Give them a battle plan, and they will execute it (Jango also gives battle plans) Kirby is a front-line trooper. He can suck up the arrows and then either turn into Bowman Kirby or throw a rain of their own arrows to the enemy. And Darth Plaeguis, last but not least, is the healer. He can heal and revive anyone but himself.
