In adaptations[]
In The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria[]
In The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, the Troll king of Dwarrowdelf lives in Khazad-dûm during the Fourth Age. He settles in the very throne room of the realm, calling himself the "Lord of Trolls". He is affected by the curse of Narag-Shazon which makes him enraged and barricades himself inside the throne room.
When Khazad-dûm is reclaimed by the dwarves in FO 171, the Troll King's blockage is breached, the dwarves invade the throne room, and kill the Troll King.
