Tredwill was a Southlander of Tirharad in the Second Age.
Biography[]
He was present when the Elf Arondir was confronted by Rowan in the village's tavern, and later brought his cow to the healer Bronwyn when it became ill, a foul black substance coming out of its udders instead of milk. He recalled the cow had been grazing near Hordern, prompting Arondir and Brownyn to go investigate.
After this resulted in the realization Adar's army was a threat, he accompanied the rest of his fellow villagers to take shelter in Ostirith. Tredwill did not follow Waldreg to swear fealty to Adar, staying instead to fight, and acquitted himself honorably in defending Tirharad. He survived the initial attack, killing many foes, but was pierced by arrows at the onset of the second attack and killed.
Behind the scenes[]
He is non-canonical, as he was invented for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
