Tookland as depicted in The Lord of the Rings Online.
Tookland was a small section of the Westfarthing of the Shire west of Hobbiton between Waymeet, Whitwell, and Tookbank in around Green-Hill Country.[1] The main town was Tuckborough.
History[]
Tookland was the land of the Tooks and many of the Took clan lived there. When Ruffians occupied the Shire, Paladin II Took rallied his family to keep the Men out. During the Battle of Bywater, about 100 Tooks under Peregrin Took (Pippin) marched to Bywater to assist in the Scouring of the Shire. Before they left, the Tooks shot a few Ruffian scouts with arrows. These ruffians had been keeping a watch on Tookland. The Tooks played an important role in The Battle of Bywater when they shot many Ruffians, as they were skilled archers.
