Tolkien's World: Paintings of Middle-earth is a collection of sixty illustrations of characters and chief locations in Middle-earth, published in hardcover by HarperCollins and MJF Books in 1992, on the centenary of J.R.R. Tolkien's birthday. At the end of the book are comments on Tolkien's mythology by each artist.
Illustrations are accompanied by a related excerpt from Tolkien's writings.
