Tolkien's Legendarium: Essays on The History of Middle-earth is a collection of writings by Tolkien scholars concerning The History of Middle-earth, the series by Christopher Tolkien revealing extensively the development of the Middle-earth legendarium and texts that comprised The Silmarillion. It was overseen by Carl F. Hostetter and Verlyn Flieger, and released in 2000.
