Tode was a marsh mentioned in "The Mewlips" in The Adventures of Tom Bombadil and Other Verses from the Red Book.
It was located on the otherside of the Merlock Mountains. Though probably a fictitious place, it may have been influenced by the Long Marshes at the eastern end of the Menn-i-Naugrim in Mirkwood.[1]
