The Great Halls were the place where Eru Iluvatar lived.
History
The Music of the Ainur was composed here, as described in the Ainulindalë, before the creation of the world. The Halls were also the dwelling of the Ainur that chose not to descend into Eä, and instead chose to remain with Eru.[1]
