Theodore Isidore Gottlieb (1906 - 2001), also known as Brother Theodore, was a German-American monologuist and comedian.
He provided the voice of Gollum in both animated versions of The Hobbit and The Return of the King.
Biography[]
Theodore Isidore Gottlieb was born into a wealthy Jewish family in the German Empire. Years later he and his family suffered greatly during the rule of the Nazis. He was imprisoned and was only able to leave if he signed over his entire family's fortune which he did.
