The Shores of Faëry, or Ielfalandes Strand in Old English, is a poem that is thirty-three lines, and was written on July 8 and 9 in 1915 by J.R.R. Tolkien. It is a quick-paced poem about the shores of Valinor, as seen by Eärendel from afar, and exists in several versions.[1]
