The Messiah Comes to Middle-earth: Images of Christ's Threefold Office in The Lord of the Rings is a book by Phil Ryken, president of Wheaton College, Illinois, based on his 2015-16 lectures given at the Marion E. Wade Center, an Inklings exhibit. It was published as a 150-page softcover in 2017 by InterVarsity Press.

The Messiah Comes to Middle-earth discusses how Jesus Christ's roles as prophet, priest, and king are displayed in certain chief characters of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, studying also how those roles have been articulated in Protestant theology over time.
