The Esgaroth Three is a New Zealand-based band led by Christopher Winchester that produces spoof music videos relating to Middle-earth and Peter Jackson's films, and since 2013 have released them on YouTube. The group is comprised mostly of cast extras, and has varied in size over the years. Other extras from the films frequently appear in their videos.
They are best known for their 2014 parody "Who The 'Ell Is Tauriel?", which got renown and many thousands of views after the negative reception of the invented character Tauriel in The Hobbit film trilogy.
The band originated from jam sessions held between filming times in the production of The Hobbit films.
