The Coming of Glaurung is the sixteenth chapter of The Children of Húrin.
Synopsis[]
Orcs begin to attack the men of Brethil, and almost kill the woodsmen, but are overcome by Túrin and his sword, Anglachel. Niënor, Túrin's wife (who is unknowingly his sister) becomes pregnant. As the dragon Glaurung approaches the land, Túrin gathers companions to assault him. Only two come, however: Dorlas and Hunthor. Niënor is saddened at her husband's departure.[1]
