The Childhood of Túrin is the first chapter of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Children of Húrin.

Eventually they returned home, and Húrin married Morwen, who soon bore him Túrin and Lalaith. Túrin grew, but was loved less than his sister. After Lalaith perished at a young age, Túrin, treated sternly by his mother, turned to his friend Sador for friendship.
