The Temple Guardian is an undead enemy created by Fantasy Flight Games for The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game. He is encountered in the Temple of the Deceived adventure pack.
Biography[]
The Temple Guardian guards the ruins of the grand temple atop a hill above other ruins, on the uncharted island of Númenor. As the player's heroes, with the help of Captain Sahír, navigate the jungles and ruins of the island they are harassed by undead warriors of Númenor. Upon reaching the temple, the Temple Guardian fights them. Once the Guardian is defeated, they retrieve the key to the temple's door, and proceed on their quest to find the chest that goes with the black key.
