Telemnar's Bane is a Gondor enemy created by Fantasy Flight Games for The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game. He is encountered in The Steward's Fear adventure pack.
Biography[]
Telemnar's Bane is Gondorian traitor who is secretly in league with Sauron's servants. He is part of a conspiracy plot, under Mordor’s bidding that seeks to usurp the stewardship and deliver the Kingdom of Gondor to Sauron. What his real name is, is not known. Telemnar's Bane is an alias to conceal his identity.
His armor is a black cloak, iron bracers, shoulder guards, and an iron mask (shaped like that of a plague doctor). He carries a staff (and probably some other weapon) which can help him get out of a tight pinch.
Strategy[]
Telemnar's Bane greatest threat to the players is his special abilities which allows him to attack mulitple times and discards the top 3 cards of every player's deck. It is recommend to defend with characters that have at least 2 or more defense. Do not play event cards unless it is necessary. To defeat him it is best to use multiple attackers with 2 or more attack value.
