Tamed Mûmak (Objective Ally) - LOTR The Card Game

Biography[]

In The Mûmakil adventure pack, the player's must use a series of traps to capture wild Mûmakil in order to travel across Harad and find the missing villagers of Kahliel's Tribe. Once the Mûmakil are captured and tamed, the player's set out across Harad, but only to be harassed Wolf-riders hunting for the remnants of Kahliels tribe. After narrowly escaping the Warg-Riders by crossing the River Harnen, the heroes set up camp in the Shadows of Ephel Dúath. That night the party is ambushed by spiders which cause the Mûmakil to spook and run off into the desert. The heroes were split whether to chase after the Mûmakil or rescue their companions from the spiders. Kahliel suggested that the Mûmakil would be too far for them to catch and even if it where possible to, it would be still better to rescue those who where capture by spiders. Not else is known or mentioned about the fate of the Tamed Mûmak.

The Tamed Mûmak's size, tough hide, and tusks keeps them mostly safe from the weather and attacks from enemies. Their large tusk and feet are good for smashing and goring enemies.

Card usage[]

In the card game, the Tamed Mûmak is largely associated with attacking or defending due their high attack power and health. In the Race Across Harad adventure pack, each player is assigned a Tamed Mûmak (there can be up to 4 total) if their Mûmakil dies, that player is elimated. Their willpower of 2 is good enough for regular use in questing. Their attack value of 5 is very strong to use them as attackers regularly. Their defense of 2 is good enough to use them as a defender, however, since they are immune to player card effects they cannot be healed so their health of 8 will drain quickly to multiple attacks.
