Where are "Morgul Knights" mentioned by that name anywhere in Tolkien's writings? - Gradivus, 23:43, January 15, 2013 (UTC)

Well, they were not called "Morgul Knights" in the book, that name was coined by the fans. Tolkein just said that there was a cavalry marching out from Minas Morgul in The Two Towers. - TroyTroodon, 25:20, Januray 16, 2013 (UTC)

I Need Help[]

This page is going to get deleted, and I'm looking like a twit for what I wrote; "Morgul "Knights?" What kind of name is that? I read the book so I thought it would make a good topic, but no it sounds stupid to everyone.

What can I do to improve this article as the guy who wrote it to begin with? TroyTroodon (talk) 17:36, January 18, 2013 (UTC)TroyTroodon.

There is no mention of these units in the book they are just guessed named figurants and its appearance as MODS of video games is forbidden see: LOTR:Current polices.--DarkLantern (talk) 17:55, January 18, 2013 (UTC)
One thing you might try it to make the name descriptive; maybe "Minas Morgul cavalry" or "Sauron's cavalry" or some such. You'd have to change the name of the page as well. I'm not the one who set it to be considered for deletion, so it's not up to me. Personally, I don't see a need for this page (you could talk about those horsemen on other pages, for example the one about the particular battle, in which you could discuss where the various forces came from), but then I don't see a need for a great many pages that are considered perfectly fine for this Wiki, so what do I know? It won't really bother me if it stays, or if it goes. - Gradivus, 18:44, January 18, 2013 (UTC)

Changed The Name![]

I changed it to "Morgul Cavalry" instead. TroyTroodon (talk) 19:08, January 22, 2013 (UTC)TroyTroodon
