The One Wiki to Rule Them All

The Balrog of Moria indeed had a name. Gandalf called him "Flame of Udun", wichj is probably something like a title.

Damian Cornwell (talk) 13:50, April 28, 2017 (UTC) The alleged 'quote' used on the top of the page is not editable, and is not actually in Tolkien's books. Use the correct quote as from the movies, not the book.

I don't understand what you're trying to say here. The page is perfectly editable to me but perhaps it's semi-protected and only users with an account can edit the page. So I advise you to make an account on the wiki and then correct it if anything's wrong.--Nognix 12:07, March 22, 2012 (UTC)
This is a quote from the books, Gandalf says this on the Bridge of Khazad-dûm. It is in the Fellowship of the Ring, Book 2, Chapter V   TheDragonLord 02:10, January 6, 2013 (UTC)

No mention of fluffy slippers? 62.194.129.218 11:46, September 25, 2013 (UTC)

I edited the section describing the Peter Jackson portrayal to say "In conjunction with Glamdring" because, if you watch, he is clearly holding his sword arm above him with the sword horizontal to block the Balrog's swing. Even though you cannot directly see the sword, it is obvious what he is doing.
