Return of Evil[]

would the great werewolf Carcharoth return? --202.158.207.242 03:33, October 20, 2009 (UTC)

turin is dead so it is not possible for him to kill morgoth[]

seeing as turin commit suicide he can not kill morgoth

Quite wrong. His body ws destroyed, but his soul went to the Halls of Mandos. He will be easily re-incarnated at the End of Days.--Wyvern Rex. 16:22, June 5, 2010 (UTC)

Where can one read about the Dagor Dagorath?[]

Where can one read about the Dagor Dagorath? Is it in one of the History of Middle-Earth books?

saruman[]

will saruman return in dagor dagorath and other evil in the third age. (Unsigned)

The correct question is "would Saruman return in Dagor Dagorath," since it might not have existed in the first place. I desperately want to change the wording on this article, because frankly Christopher Tolkien knows the intentions of his father quite a lot better than a bunch of random fans, but regardless, the answer is probably no. Melkor is returning because he was never really killed; think on how Sauron managed to return after being cut by Isildur. Saruman was stabbed to death by Grima Wormtongue in Hobbiton, and it's unlikely that he had a phylactery. If Sauron had helped him to set one up, he would almost certainly have dsetroyed it by the end of the Third Age--Saruman proved himself a poor tool, and a treacherous one at that.

Does this take place in the present?[]

So this would take place in present day Earth?

Concerns about Gilthrang and End of Days[]

Wasn't there a post about Gilthrang on here? It seems to have been taken off. Why? I thought Christopher Tolkien stated that an Aniur would come and release Morgoth and be an equivalent to Sauron. Wasn't that Gilthrang? From Namo's people? Moran half valar (talk) 06:12, November 18, 2014 (UTC)

The His edit on the last paragraph[]

The reason I made that edit isn't to make this wiki a "bible of Eru". It's because it's inconsistent. The previous "his" before that is capitalized, while the later one isn't. Either capitalize both or don't capitalize either. Consistency is important. Nitrate55 (talk) 23:04, 17 October 2021 (UTC)

You're right - consistency is important. In this case all those instances should not be capitalized, per HiddenVale's reasoning, which is now the case. Bitterhand (talk) 22:51, 17 October 2021 (UTC)

Thank you for upholding consistency. Nitrate55 (talk) 23:10, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
