Tales and Songs of Bimble Bay

Tales and Songs of Bimble Bay are a series of poems written by J.R.R. Tolkien. Although Humphrey Carpenter wrote that they were written in 1922, Christina Scull and Wayne G. Hammond place the time of composition as being around 1928. At one point, Tolkien considered including The Mewlips as part of the series when it was initially called Bimble Bay a song on the Borders.
