The Stiffbeards were a clan aligned with one of the Seven Fathers of the Dwarves in Middle-earth that dwelt in the mountains of the East. They were originally paired with the Ironfists.[1] It is possible that the Stiffbeards were among the houses of other Fathers who sent troops to help Durin's Folk in the War of the Dwarves and Orcs.[2]
