Sorontil, also known as Eagle-horn, was a great mountain peak in the north of the Númenórean province of Forostar.[1]
Sorontil rose up from the coasts of Forostar as sheer, tremendously steep cliffs. It was here that King Tar-Meneldur built his tower upon Sorontil.[2][3][4]
