The Snowbourn as depicted in The Lord of the Rings Online

Snowbourn was a river of Rohan.

The Snowbourn arose in the White Mountains under the mountain Starkhorn, flowed through Harrowdale where the Rohirrim capital of Edoras was built, and then flowed eastwards until it met the river Entwash in Rohan's Eastfold. It additionally served as the boundary between the Eastfold and Westemnet.[1]

Films

As the Rohirrim are being mustered in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, Théoden asks Grimbold where the Men of Snowbourn are located, and is told that none have come.

Video games

In The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age, Berethor's party goes to Snowbourn to aid in saving the village from being attacked by Uruk-hai and Dunlending folk, throwing out Gríma Wormtongue (explaining why the people of Snowbourn did not go to Theoden's aid).
