The Silver Wing is a ship of Dol Amroth created by Fantasy Flight Games for the The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game. Players can obtain it as an Ship-objective in The Grey Havens Expansion.
Biography[]
The Silver Wing is one of the ships given to the player's heroes by Lord Calphon. The Silver Wing is used in the Voyage Across Belegaer, Flight of the Stormcaller, A Storm on Cobas Haven, and The City of Corsairs scenario. In the City of Corsairs the Silver Wing, as well as, the other ships of the player's fleet are destroyed among the rocks outside of Umbar.
Card usage[]
In the card game, Ship-objectives can only attack and defend against ship enemies. Player controlled heroes and allies can attack enemy ships, but not defend against them. Undefended attacks from ship enemies must be place on Ship-objectives.
Silver Wing is largely associated with attacking due to its attack value and Ranged keyword. The Silver Wing's willpower and defense of 2 is good enough for regular use in questing or defending. Its attack of 4 is strong to be used as an attacker and its Ranged keyword can help other players with attacking. The Silver Wing's special ability can buff its controller's heroes attacks and reduces their starting threat by 3. Its health of 14 cannot be repaired by player cards (Immune to player card effects), but can be repaired by a location card effects.
