Sigewulf was a Warrior from Rohan.

Portrayal in adaptations

Peter Jackson's The Two Towers

During the War of the Ring, Sigewulf was among those that had to defend the Hornburg and the Deeping Wall from Saruman's army of Uruk-hai. He perished along with most of the defenders during the battle of Helm's Deep.[1]

Etymology

Sigewulf is Old English for "Wolf of victory".
