Sheila Chandra ca. 2000

Sheila Chandra (b. March 14, 1965) is a retired English pop singer. She sang the Sindarin verses in the soundtrack "Breath of Life" for Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002), a piece for which a singer with an exotic, Eastern tone was thought very suitable.[1]

Since 2009, she has had burning mouth syndrome, and can no longer sing.
