The Serni is a river that originated in the plains of Lebennin and flowed southward to the Bay of Belfalas.
The Serni was one of the Five Rivers of Lebennin. The river Gilrain was a tributary of the Serni. According to Karen Wynn Fonstad's The Atlas of Middle-earth. it was about one-hundred miles long.[1]
History[]
It had an alternate spelling of Sernui according to a mention in the preface of The Adventures of Tom Bombadil.
