Ruby Gardner, born in SR 1438, was the eleventh child and sixth and last daughter of Samwise Gamgee and his wife, Rosie (née Cotton) Gamgee. She had two younger brothers: Robin and Tolman.
She was not foreseen by Frodo before his departure from Middle-earth.
