Rían was an Elf of the Second Age. A skilled archer, she was chosen by Galadriel to accompany her and Elrond to discover the truth of Sauron's presence in Eregion.
She was killed in the battle of Eregion, but not before loosing a crucial flaming arrow that destroyed the siege weapon known as the Ravager.
Behind the scenes[]
The character was created for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power who first appears in Season Two, and as such is non-canonical. The character is portrayed by British actress Selina Lo.
