Pixies was the name of one of the many Sprite-kinds of ancient Arda, as recorded in the earliest forms of Tolkien's Mythology.
It is unclear who they were in particular, but were probably similar to all the other the Sprites, those known for dwelling in or close to the many landforms and for growing things in the early days of Arda.[1]
