Pimpernel Took was the second daughter of Paladin Took and his wife Eglantine Banks; thus a sister to Peregrin Took.[1]
She was a guest at Bilbo Baggins' farewell party.[2]
Etymology[]
Pimpernel is a genus consisting of about 25 flowering plants. Its Latin root is pimpernella which means "little pepper".[3]
