Philip Graham Ryken, Ph. D. (born September, 1966), known as Phil Ryken, is an American author and Presbyterian minister, and the eighth president of Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. He is a frequent speaker and prolific writer on theology, and in 2017 wrote The Messiah Comes to Middle-earth, a summation of his lectures on J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, given in the first year of Wheaton College's Hansen Lectureship, 2015-16.
