Orrostar

Orrostar, or the Eastlands, was the easternmost province of Númenor, a promontory around 100 miles long from east to west, surrounded by the Sea on all but its western side. This rectangular block of land contained a range of hilly terrain which protected the region from cold northeastern winds. The hills themselves ran along the northern coast of the province. It was known as the granary of Númenor, for inland parts held some of the most important farmlands in the realm where an abundance of grain was grown.
