Orontor was a Númenórean nobleman.
History[]
Orontor was a man of Númenor and a member of The Faithful's faction. He was a good friend of Elendil and, after his departure on a long voyage, he left his daughter Fíriel in Elendil's house. The reasons of his travel were unknown, and while someone speculated that he went into exile, he was likely part of a mysterious mission.[1]
