- 13 - Of the Return of the Ñoldor - This chapter recounts the death of Fëanor at the hands of Gothmog, the capture of Maedhros and his imprisonment and hanging from Thangorodrim, Maedhros' rescue by Fingon, the Mereth Aderthad, the construction of Nargothrond and Gondolin, the Dagor Aglareb, the beginning of the Siege of Angband, and the first appearance of Glaurung and Dragons.
