Nerd of the Rings is the foremost YouTube channel dedicated to J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth legendarium. As of January 2025, it has over 1.2 million subscribers.

Run by Matt Graf,^{[citation needed]} it offers extensive videos about the lore of many aspects in Arda in a "Tolkien Explained" series, some videos on Middle-earth theories, , unboxing of related products, and numerous interviews with significant persons such as actors, crew members of adaptations, Tolkien illustrators, and Tolkien scholars. Interviewees have included Charlie Vickers (the actor who portrayed Sauron in The Rings of Power series), Ted Nasmith (famed artist used in many books and referenced by adaptations), Corey Olsen (Tolkien scholor), Carl Hostetter, Robert Aramayo (the actor who portrayed Elrond in The Rings of Power), John Rhys-Davies (famed veteran actor who portrayed Gimli in the films), Brian Sibley (writer, broadcaster, and Tolkien enthusiast), Mark Ordesky (executive and producer), and Wētā Workshop stalwarts, Daniel Falconer and Richard Taylor,, and

Matt is known for his deep, loving appreciation and lack of toxicity shown when covering a great range of Tolkien lore or discussing adaptations, though it is freely admitted when certain elements of lore are personally less enjoyed than others.
