Náli was a Dwarf of Durin's Folk.[1]
Biography[]
Náli was part of an expedition led by Balin to reclaim Moria for the Dwarves of Durin's Folk. He was joined by Flói, Frár, Óin, Ori, and Lóni.
Five years afterward, in TA 2994, members of the colony were attacked by Orcs while near Mirrormere and driven through the East-gate into Moria. Náli was killed in a battle while defending the Bridge of Khazad-dûm and the Second Hall alongside Lóni and Frár.
His story is told in the Book of Mazarbul, which was found by Gandalf when he and the Fellowship passed through Moria during their travels.[2]

Nali appears in Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring Video Game. Different from novel, Nali in that game is a travveler, which come to West for business, and says to Frodo he will return to Erebor after his job conculeded. He fate is afterwards is unknown.
