Morwen was a Rohirrim woman during the War of the Ring. She is a movie character and does not appear in the corresponding book, The Two Towers, and is thus Non-canonical.
In adaptations[]
In The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, her two young children are Freda and Éothain, whom she sends away to Edoras by horse as their village in the Westfold is raided by Uruk-hai and Wildmen.
She is seen later in the fortress of the Hornburg, where she is reunited with her children. During the Battle of the Hornburg, she is seen hugging Éowyn desperately in the refuge of the caves. The fate of her children is unknown.
Behind the scenes[]
Morwen was played by Robyn Malcolm. Her character was created for The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and as such is non-canonical.
