Mid-year's Day occurs in the middle of the year, and according to the Shire Reckoning, between 1 Lithe and 2 Lithe. It is called Loëndë in Quenya.[1]

TA 3019 Aragorn II Elessar weds Arwen.[6]
TA 3020 Frodo leaves the office of Mayor, restoring Will Whitfoot to the position.[6]
FO 6 Will Whitfoot resigns as Mayor of Michel Delving and Samwise Gamgee is elected to the position.[7]
FO 55 At the Free Fair, Samwise Gamgee resigns as Mayor of the Shire.[7]
FO 61 Death of Rosie Cotton, the wife of Samwise Gamgee.[7]

In earlier texts, Mid-year's Day was called "Arendien" before the term Loëndë was used.[1]
