Michael Pellerin is a producer and director who has directed documentaries such as New Zealand: Home of Middle-earth (2015) and J.R.R. Tolkien: Origins of Middle-earth (2003), and is known for working with Peter Jackson on King Kong (2005) by producing Jackson's "Production Diaries" to the film.
He directed all behind-the-scenes documentaries featured in the Extended Edition releases of The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. With Susan K. Lee, Brian Sibley, and Robert Meyer Burnett, he also directed the documentaries' interviews.
