Nevrast

Nevrast as shown on Christopher Tolkien's 1953 map of Middle-earth

The Marshes of Nevrast were a wide area of marshland in the land of Nevrast.

According to the Karen Wynn Fonstad's The Atlas of Middle-earth, the marshes were approximately fifty miles in length and were situated slightly southeast of the center of the land.[1]

The marshes completely surrounded a lake called Linaewen.[2]
