Malantur was a Númenórean noble, the son of Caliondo, son of Eärendur. He lived in the late first millennium of the Second Age.
Malantur was said to be the heir to his cousin the king Tar-Aldarion, but when laws were altered, the king's daughter Ancalimë became heir instead. [1]
