Mairen was a woman of Númenor in the Second Age, and the fiancée of Ontamo, Isildur and Valandil's friend.
She relaxed at a party with Ontamo the night before the expedition to Middle-earth departed, and noticed Isildur waiting to speak with Valandil. Ontamo, however, was killed in the Southlands when a burning house collapsed on him.
