Mablon was an Elf of the First Age in earlier versions of the legendarium.
Biography[]
Mablon was part of a host of Úmanyar, called "Ilkorindi" (precursor to the Sindar), that Tareg led both in the War of Palisor and in the Battle of Unnumbered Tears against Melko and his armies of Goblins, Nauglath, monsters, and wicked Men. Mablon was slain in the last battle, bravely sacrificing himself by challenging a host of Balrogs to save the remainders of his people.[1]
